Monetizing LinkedIn An Argument for Accepting All Invitations

There are some very clever ways to get connected to people that would be of value to you, even if they aren’t in your network. In my Power Networking Profit System for LinkedIn I show you how to use your network to effectively get connected to others but even these techniques become difficult if you don’t have a well developed network.

Networking is like advertising in that it is all about visibility. The more visibility you have the more opportunities will come your way.

If you go to the profile of someone that is not in your first

or second tier of connections and look to see how many connections of yours are connected to connections of theirs you will get an idea.

In many cases you’ll need to use these people if you want to get connected to them. One example would be if you are trying to work your way into a company and get to specific executive that don’t show up in your network at all. The more relationships that exist here, the more likely you will find a good fit for someone that can and will help you.

Building your network will increase the number of intermediate connections thus increasing the chances you will have a good option for trying to make the connection.

This is not the only reason for allowing and encouraging your network to grow but it is certainly a very important one.
